Math Learning Goals:
3.3H – (R)- Compare two fractions having the same numerator or denominator in problems by reasoning about their size and justifying the conclusion using symbols, words, objects, and pictorial models.
Math Homework
Math homework will be sent home Friday, the 10rd and due on Thursday, Feb. 16th.
Mad Minute
We will be continuing our Mad Minute Incentives. It will cover all multiplication facts (0-10). Please continue to study those facts with your student so they can meet our goal of 70% correct (20 out of the 30).
Science Learning Goals:
3.8B – Describe and illustrate the Sun as a star composed of gasses that provides light and thermal energy.
3.8C – Construct models that demonstrate the Sun, Earth and moon including orbits and positions.
3.8D – Identify the planets in the Earth solar system and their position in relation to the Sun.
